In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Christopher Chappell, age 47 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation violation and for failure to appear on a previous charge of probation violation.

Tonya Seale, age 50 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Timothy Thompson, age 35 of Piedmont, was arrested by an unlisted agency on unlisted charges.

Mary Blevins, age 55 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of tampering with a witness.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 81 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
