Mr. Woods was a loving father, a hardworking man, and someone who carried the stories of the road with him wherever he went. Pat spent much of his life behind the wheel as a tour bus driver, guiding countless journeys across America and becoming a part of many unforgettable memories for the people he transported. He was given the nickname “PWSmooth” by all of his driver friends and passengers because he had a steady hand and a deep love for the road. When he wasn’t driving, Pat could almost always be found in the kitchen. Cooking was one of his greatest joys. Whether it was a simple southern meal or a full holiday spread, he poured love into everything he cooked. Feeding people was one of the ways he showed he cared, and his food brought comfort and togetherness to those lucky enough to gather at his table. Pat’s memory lives on in the lessons he passed down, the skills he taught, and the love he gave his family. He will be deeply, deeply missed, especially by his 3 sons who will always remember him for his warm meals, humor, and the many other ways he showed his love.
