During the Commission meeting Tuesday afternoon, Joy Perry, Director of Chamber of Commerce, presented the Commission with a photo book recording the Groundbreaking Ceremonies of the Cherokee County Courthouse on east Main Street in Centre. Perry said this was probably the most significant historical event for Cherokee County in many years and for many years to come.

Perry told the Commission Members she would order one for each of them and for the Library.
