Cherokee County Arrest Files for Thursday, May 15

In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Matthew Long, age 43 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of receiving stolen property/possessing stolen property worth $1,500 or more, receiving stolen property/possession of a stolen vehicle, two counts of receiving stolen property/possessing stolen property, the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, drug trafficking, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, and trafficking in stolen identities.

Reynaldo Perez-Salaises, age 36 of Joliet, Illinois, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Autumn Jenkins, age 28 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, two counts of 1st degree receiving stolen property, and trafficking in stolen identities.

Erick Hooper, age 31 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
