GADSDEN– An investigation is underway after someone found skeletal remains in Gadsden on Tuesday.
The person discovered the remains in a wooded area near the 500 block of Tyler Street. The location is behind the Agricola Shopping Center. Afterward, the person contacted police.
According to the Gadsden Police Department, officers continue to investigate the discovery. However, authorities have not released information about the identity of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding the death.
Police said they will complete the identification and notification process before releasing more detailed information.
