In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

William Morrow, age 36 of Ragland, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Jessica Cole, age 29 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Evin Roden, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on a court order.

Jeremy Burt, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and attempting to elude.

Jeremy Burt, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, was also arrested by an unnamed agency on unlisted charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 84 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
