In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

Joey Tierce, age 55 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 2nd degree escape and for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 85 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
