Mrs. Evelyn Turner Hall, age 97, of Gaylesville, passed away on October 6, 2026. She was born on August 10, 1929, to William and Annie Mae Turner.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her sons, Stuart Hall and Craig (Shirley) Hall; daughter, Joan (Randy) Ezell; son-in-law, Keith Daniel; grandchildren, Douglas (Cassi) Ezell and Holly (Daniel) Oswell; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Ann Oswell; and extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Douglas Hall; sister, Teresa Daniel; parents, William and Annie Mae Turner; and six brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Hall attended Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church. She devoted approximately 20 years to her work at the Cherokee County Child Development Center in Cedar Bluff. She found joy in the simple things—working in her garden, tending her flowers, and spending time with those she loved. Above all, she treasured her family and the time they shared together.
The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made in her memory to Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
