PIEDMONT– The Etowah County Animal Shelter is inviting vendors to join its Hounds & Harvest Fest on Saturday, Oct. 24. The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at 12071 U.S. Highway 278 East in Piedmont.
Vendor spaces are free, according to the Greater Gadsden Area Tourism event listing. The shelter also welcomes local businesses, crafters, makers, food vendors, and community organizations. Vendors can bring products, crafts, information, or activities to share with visitors.
Dirty Bubbles and H’Rahyans Mixed have already signed up, the listing says. However, the shelter is seeking additional participants and says it still has space available.
The festival will also give families an afternoon of fall activities while introducing visitors to adoptable animals at the shelter. Organizers also plan activities for children, although the listing does not specify them.
Those interested in a free vendor space should contact the Etowah County Animal Shelter at 256-494-5422 for details.
