GADSDEN—Etowah County will hold a community document-shredding and drug-take-back event Saturday, October 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place in the county courthouse parking lot at 800 Forrest Avenue in Gadsden, across from the Sheriff’s Office.
Residents may bring paper documents for shredding and unwanted medications for disposal. The Etowah Chamber’s event listing says participation is free, with no limit on the amount of paper or medication brought.
