Lorenda “Lori” Jayne Laney Gaffrey, born April 5, 1961, passed away on October 1, 2026.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Nation officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens.

Lori is survived by her husband, Sean Gaffrey; sons, Michael (Angela) Wright and Nicolas Camlin; grandson, Gavin Wright; father, Charles Laney; brother, Justin (Shelby) Gaffrey; sisters, Piper Gaffrey and Niki Gaffrey; uncle, Tommy Laney; niece, Emma Gazaway; great-niece, River Lee; and other extended family members and friends.

Lori was the daughter of Charles Laney and the late Gail Whatley Laney.
