In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Billy Jennings, age 44 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Justin Patterson, age 29 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and public intoxication.

Douglas Obenoskey, age 35 of an unknown address, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 1st degree theft of property, attempting to elude, two counts of 3rd degree burglary, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, 1st degree receiving stolen property, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
