In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Sasha Hopkins, age 40 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Amanda Kelly, age 46 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Ricky Bryant, age 69 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tommy Surrett, age 55 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Charles Boykin, age 60 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of a certain person forbidden to carry a firearm and two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 100 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
