In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Kyle Sharpton, age 60 of Anniston, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Devorien McFarlin, age 41 of Rainbow City, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

David Watson, age 53 of Moss Point, Mississippi, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.

James Reynolds, age 55 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Matthew Scott, age 44 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unauthorized used of a vehicle and 3rd degree theft of property.

Caleb Calhoun, age 44 of Center Point, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 98 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
