GADSDEN– A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian early Wednesday near College Parkway and East Meighan Boulevard.
The incident occurred in East Gadsden, near Glencoe. According to authorities, Gadsden Fire Department and Gadsden Police Department units responded at approximately 5:13 a.m.
The pedestrian’s identity was not immediately available Wednesday morning. Investigators were still gathering information, and further details about the vehicle involved had not yet been released.
The Gadsden Police Department continues to investigate the incident. Meanwhile, WEIS Radio has requested additional information and will update this story as authorities make more details available.
