ANNISTON – Spring Garden swept a volleyball tri-match at Donoho on Thursday. The Lady Panthers defeated Donoho 25-23, 25-21, then rallied past Weaver 22-25, 25-19, 15-13 to improve to 12-6 on the season.

In the win over Donoho, Aubrey Kelley led the Lady Panthers with 13 kills, 11 assists and three digs. Addie Word added five kills and six assists. Lleyton Carroll contributed 21 assists, 11 digs and an ace.

Maya Jennings posted three kills, two assists, two blocks and an ace. Kylie Bates managed four kills, two assists and a block. Hayden Parris had three kills and an assist.

Lacie Jo McMurray came away with five assists. Addie Smith and Gracie Simpson both had a pair of assists. Simpson also delivered an ace.

In the win over Weaver, Kelley collected 11 kills, three assists and an ace. Word earned five kills, two assists, an ace and a block. Carroll added 18 assists and 11 digs.

Jennings managed three kills, five assists, an ace and a block. Bates also had three kills with an assist. McMurray added six assists and Smith had three assists.

Simpson contributed five assists and an ace. Parris finished with a kill.

Spring Garden hosts Appalachian on Monday.
