Mr. Charlie Lee Crane, age 91, of Cedar Bluff, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, August 21, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of the family he cherished.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. George Moses officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Baty, Alex Baty, Lynn Crane, Gary Crane, Kyle Crane, and Garrett Crane.
Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Nellie Eyvonne Crane; daughter, Peggy (Randy) Baty; sons, Gary (Ramona) Crane and Lynn (Holly) Crane; brother, Billy “Bill” Crane; grandchildren, Mark (Sasha) Baty, Kyle (Ashton) Crane, and Garrett (Vannae) Crane; and great-grandchildren, Natalie Baty, Alex Baty, Stetson Crane, Scottie Crane, Callan Crane, and Chacen Goss.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee Crane and Ruby Crane; brother, J.C. Crane; sisters, Janie Goss and Annie Sue Goss; and grandson, Matthew Baty.
Charlie was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and caring brother. Throughout his 91 years, he built a life centered around family and the people he loved. His greatest legacy will not simply be measured in years, but in the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
