MOSHAT– An 18-wheeler overturned shortly after 5 a.m. Monday on U.S. 411 North in the Moshat community north of Centre. The crash occurred near County Road 83/158.
The Spring Creek Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene. Meanwhile, crews with Fagan’s Towing Service worked to recover the truck later Monday morning.
As recovery operations continued, first responders directed traffic through the area one lane at a time. The northbound lane remained blocked.
At publication time, the cause remained under investigation. WEIS had not confirmed whether anyone suffered injuries.
