The city of Rome, Georgia celebrated America’s 250th birthday with a drone show over the Town Green at West 1st Street Monday night.
The free event coincided with the first day of the Georgia Downtown Association’s annual conference, an gathering which expected 250 or more professionals from around the state to attend.
DJ music began around 7 pm with the drone show lighting the sky after dark. Though storms approached, the event by Open Sky Drone Lights Shows went on as scheduled.
