LEESBURG– The Town of Leesburg will hold an America 250 celebration Saturday, Aug. 29. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Leesburg Fire Hall Pavilion.
The program will honor veterans and mark the nation’s 250th anniversary. Mayor Brandy Pierce invited residents and visitors to join the community celebration.
Crystal Wells will serve as guest speaker during the event. In addition, Savana J will provide live music.
Families can also enjoy inflatables and other activities for children. The town will also unveil its America 250 mural during the celebration.
Meanwhile, the town planned the gathering as a day of history, music, and family activities.
Finally, organizers encourage guests to bring lawn chairs and attend with their families.
