CEDAR BLUFF– Chris and Hope Spears will lead revival services at Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church beginning Sunday, Aug. 16.
The revival will continue through Friday, Aug. 21. Services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Central each evening.
Chris and Hope Spears have been married for 29 years. They have also served in ministry together for 27 years.
The couple spent many of those years working as evangelists. Their ministry included singing and sharing the Christian message with churches and communities.
Today, they serve as pastors of Gospel Light Christian Fellowship. The church has a 71-year history in their hometown.
Their ministry focuses on strengthening the Kingdom of God and reaching others through faith. They also enjoy singing, leading church services, and hosting conferences and revivals.
In addition, the couple hosts “From the Heart,” a morning Facebook podcast through Hope Spears’ page. The program features relaxed conversations about faith, family, and everyday life.
Family also remains an important part of their lives. Chris and Hope have three children and two grandchildren.
The public is invited to attend the Cedar Bluff revival. Chris and Hope encourage others to remember that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
