ROME– A Centre woman faces several drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Floyd County, Georgia.
According to Coosa Valley News, officers stopped 55-year-old Denita Bagley Holtzclaw in the 6000 block of Blacks Bluff Road.
Police said officers saw Holtzclaw fail to maintain her lane. During the stop, they also accused her of driving under the influence of drugs.
In addition, officers reportedly found methamphetamine, amphetamine, Lortab and glass smoking devices in her possession.
Holtzclaw faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. She also faces charges of driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and possession of drug-related objects.
All charges are allegations. Holtzclaw is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
