GAYLESVILLE – Senior quarterback Alec Ashley threw for a score and ran for another to lead the Sand Rock Wildcats to a 21-6 football jamboree win at Gaylesville on Thursday night.
Lathan Amos caught Ashley’s touchdown pass. Lucas Brown ran for another Sand Rock score.
Jack Sentell scored the Trojans’ lone touchdown on a 15-yard run.
Gaylesville hosts Lindsay Lane on Aug. 28 to begin the 2026 football season. Sand Rock is at Spring Garden, also on Aug. 28.
