In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Michael Peed, age 39 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of certain persons forbidden to carry a firearm, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Bridget Middlebrooks, age 42 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Brittany Hutt, age 28 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Troy Watwood, age 44 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree assault.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 113 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
