COLLINSVILLE– The Collinsville Public Library is partnering with the Food Bank of North Alabama to offer a free produce distribution Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The event will run from 11 a.m. until noon and is free and open to the public.
Organizers will hold the distribution at the Collinsville Fire Department, located at 545 N. Valley Ave. in Collinsville.
A variety of fresh fruits and vegetables will be available during the event.
The partnership gives community members an opportunity to receive fresh produce at no cost.
Residents who would like to participate can stop by the Collinsville Fire Department between 11 a.m. and noon Wednesday while produce is available.
