Mrs. Carolyn Lane, age 86, passed away on August 8, 2026.

The family will receive friends at Perry Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to Tucker’s Chapel Cemetery for a graveside funeral service to begin at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. James Maples officiating.

Ms. Lane was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Pritchett and Hula Burt Pritchett; her husband, Sonny Lane; her son, William Timothy Lane; and her sister, Edith Mackey.

Carolyn leaves behind a family who loved her dearly.  She is survived by her son, David Paul Lane and his wife, Beth; her daughter, Delila Lane Christian; and her grandchildren, Christopher Prince and his wife, Holly, James “Jamie” Prince, Hayden Taylor and his wife, Madi, and Piper Lane.

Her presence will be missed, but the love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her..

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Tucker’s Chapel Fire Department.
