In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Kevin Abney, age 54 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence-harassment.

Kobe Starr, age 25 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of driving under the influence and the possession of tax-paid alcoholic beverages for private use.

Dylan Edwards, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brittany Edwards, age 32 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ted Kinard, age 51 of Mantice, Mississippi, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Jason Nicholson, age 47 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of public intoxication.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 111 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
