Centre Middle School seventh grade softball pitcher Addie Sherrod recently tried out and was selected to play in the USSSA All-American games at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. She will be representing Centre and the entire Southeast. Sherrod’s team starts bracket play on Friday.
Sherrod was also selected for all-state and will be competing Saturday, Aug. 8 in Decatur. She was selected by the coaches that her travel team has competed against this season.
Her 12-and-under travel team is Southern Force 2k13 out of Huntsville.
