CENTRE– A water main break has caused a service outage for Cherokee County Water Authority customers between Tates Chapel and Bay Springs Marina.
Crews are working to repair the damaged line. The Water Authority expects service will be restored around 9 a.m., although that timeline could change depending on repair conditions.
WEIS Radio will continue monitoring the situation and provide an update when repairs are complete and water service has been restored.
