Redeemed Recovery Plans “Broken But Not Destroyed” Event in Piedmont

PIEDMONT-Redeemed Recovery will host its “Broken But Not Destroyed” Day of Recovery on August 8 in Piedmont.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. at 500 Mill Street.

Organizers describe the gathering as a day of hope, healing and restoration. Activities will include live music, water baptisms and encouraging speakers.

The event will also feature a balloon release in memory of those who have died. Food, fellowship and recovery resources will be available throughout the day.

Music will be provided by MOG, Jesus Junk13 and additional performers.

Scheduled speakers and participants include Elizabeth Walker, Nick Mickler, Justin Taylor, Jason Moore, Paul Goodwin and Kenny Jenkins.

Several recovery organizations and ministries are expected to provide information and support. Those listed include Surrendered Ministries, Self Recovery, End Addiction Talladega, Your Haven and Recover Out Loud.

Additional participating resources include ROSS, Beauty for Ashes, Back to Life Ministry, Titan House and Guardians of Grace. Organizers said more groups are also expected to take part.

The “Broken But Not Destroyed” event is designed to bring together people in recovery, their families and others affected by addiction. The gathering will focus on encouragement, remembrance, faith and access to community support.
