GADSDEN – The Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department is inviting the community to support its firefighters during a Boston Butt fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, June 27.
The fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1140 Pulltight Road in Gadsden.
Boston butts will be available for $45 each, with proceeds benefiting the volunteer fire department and helping support its mission of providing emergency fire and rescue services to the Coates Bend community.
Organizers say community support plays a vital role in helping the department maintain equipment, respond to emergencies, and continue serving local residents.
Residents are encouraged to stop by, purchase a Boston butt, and support the men and women who volunteer their time to protect the community.
