Chief's Youth Advisory Panel Raises $750 for Calhoun County Animal Control Center

PIEDMONT – The Piedmont Police Department’s Chief’s Youth Advisory Panel has completed its community service project for the 2025-2026 school year by raising $750 to benefit the Calhoun County Animal Control Center.

Department representatives recently presented the donation to Naomi of the Calhoun County Animal Control Center. According to the Piedmont Police Department, the contribution will help support the organization’s efforts to serve both the animals and residents of Calhoun County.

The department recognized the students for their hard work, dedication and commitment to giving back to their community throughout the project.

The Piedmont Police Department also expressed appreciation to everyone who supported the fundraising effort, noting that the success of the project was made possible through community involvement.

Officials congratulated the members of the Chief’s Youth Advisory Panel on a job well done and said they look forward to seeing the positive impact the students will continue to make in the community in the years ahead.
