RAINBOW CITY — The Rainbow City Fire Department is recognizing Firefighter Nick Young for successfully earning his National Registry Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT AEMT) certification.

Department officials said the accomplishment marks an important milestone both in Young’s career and in the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance emergency medical services for the community.

As an Advanced EMT, Young is now qualified to provide a higher level of prehospital patient care, including advanced patient assessments, medication administration, and other lifesaving medical interventions.

The department praised Young’s dedication to professional development and patient care, noting that he is continuing his education by attending Paramedic School while serving the community as a firefighter.

Officials said Young’s commitment to expanding his medical knowledge reflects the high standards of service and professionalism expected within the department.
