RAINBOW CITY-The Rainbow City Fire Department has announced the promotion of two firefighters to the rank of lieutenant, recognizing their dedication, leadership, and commitment to service.

Shane Brown has been promoted to lieutenant and will be assigned to C-Shift. Department officials said Lieutenant Brown will continue serving the department and community in a leadership role, upholding the professionalism and dedication he has demonstrated throughout his career.

Chris McCarver has also been promoted to lieutenant and will be assigned to A-Shift. In his new position, Lieutenant McCarver will assume additional leadership responsibilities while continuing his commitment to excellence in the fire service.

According to the department, both individuals have consistently demonstrated strong work ethic, a commitment to training, and a dedication to serving the citizens of Rainbow City. Officials expressed confidence that both will excel in their new roles and contribute to developing the next generation of firefighters within the department.

The Rainbow City Fire Department extended congratulations to Lieutenant Brown and Lieutenant McCarver and thanked them for their continued service and leadership within the community.
