Mr. Jeffrey Lamar Green, age 60 of Forney, passed away on June 8, 2026, at AdventHealth Redmond Hospital in Rome, GA. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his children, Brandon Green (Brooke), Brittanie Bonds (Coty), and Isaac Green; grandchildren, Hunter Green, Lynleigh Witt, and Kylee Hayes; sister, Lori Flores; nephews, Cody Lecroy and Jacob Davis; and his girlfriend, Rachel Crane.
Jeff was a carpenter by trade and was well known in the Forney community. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Sarah Green.
