CENTRE- The Cherokee County Public Library is inviting older adults to take part in its June Senior Tech Connect Lecture Series, a program designed to help participants strengthen their digital skills in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.
The sessions are offered in partnership with Senior Planet from AARP and focus on helping seniors build confidence using everyday technology, from basic device navigation to exploring online tools and services that can enhance daily life.
Library officials say the program is structured specifically for older adults and emphasizes practical instruction, peer learning, and accessibility. Participants are encouraged to attend regardless of prior experience, whether they are just getting started with digital devices or looking to expand their existing knowledge.
The free sessions aim to foster both skill development and community connection, offering attendees the opportunity to learn alongside fellow lifelong learners while gaining tools to better navigate the digital world.
The Cherokee County Public Library will host the June schedule throughout the month. For additional details, including session topics and times, residents are encouraged to contact the library directly or visit in person.
