Etowah County Emergency Management Deputy Director Completes National Basic Academy Certification

ETOWAH COUNTY — Etowah County Emergency Management Agency Deputy Director Keshawn Long has completed the National Emergency Management Basic Academy, earning his Certification of Completion after extensive training and coursework.

According to the agency, Long dedicated countless hours to intensive instruction, hands-on learning, and academic study as part of the program. The certification represents a foundational achievement in professional emergency management training at the national level.

Officials with the Etowah County Emergency Management Agency say the accomplishment reflects Long’s commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness and response capabilities for the community.

The agency also recognized Long’s service and professionalism, noting his continued dedication to Etowah County through his role in emergency management operations.
