
OXFORD — The Oxford Fire Department is celebrating the achievement of one of its newest firefighters following his graduation from recruit school.
Firefighter Brody Syer recently completed recruit training and was named valedictorian of his graduating class, an honor awarded in recognition of his academic performance and overall achievement during the program.

According to the Oxford Fire Department, Syer’s accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence he demonstrated throughout his training.
Department officials praised Syer for his efforts and expressed pride in having him as a member of the Oxford Fire Department.
The department extended its congratulations to Syer on both his graduation and his recognition as valedictorian, noting that the achievement highlights his dedication to the fire service and his readiness to serve the Oxford community.
