
ETOWAH COUNTY — The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has released its monthly patrol statistics for April, highlighting the workload handled by deputies and staff as they responded to calls, conducted patrol operations and served legal documents throughout the county.
According to the report, deputies responded to 331 calls for service during the month and completed 150 incident reports. The Sheriff’s Office also reported making 22 arrests and issuing 17 citations or warnings.
Patrol personnel served 29 warrants during April, while the agency’s civil division completed 994 civil paper services, reflecting a significant portion of the department’s monthly activity.
Deputies also conducted 1,269 nightly business checks as part of ongoing crime prevention efforts aimed at enhancing security for local businesses and deterring criminal activity.
In addition, Sheriff’s Office personnel logged approximately 27,000 miles during prisoner transports and other official duties throughout the month.
The monthly statistics provide a snapshot of the services performed by the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office and illustrate the wide range of responsibilities carried out by deputies and support staff on a daily basis.
Sheriff’s Office officials said the agency remains committed to protecting the citizens of Etowah County through proactive law enforcement, community engagement and continued public safety efforts.
