Mr. Charlie Odis Latta, 87, died on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.  He was born January 30, 1939, in Cherokee County, Alabama, to Ed Cornelius Latta and Ida Cynthia Godfrey Latta.

He was a Plant Manager for Vulcan Materials, prior to his retirement. He was a big football fan and loved Alabama football. Mr. Latta enjoyed working in his yard, working the Earth, and watching this grow, farms, crops, etc. He really loved his family including his dog, Angel.

Wife – Martha Jean Latta,

Sons-Charlie Latta (Chrissy) and Eric Latta (Loretta),

One Grandson, Two Granddaughters and Five Great Grandchildren.
