LEESBURG — Residents of Leesburg will have an opportunity to voice their opinions on whether consumable hemp products should be permitted for sale within the town limits during a public meeting scheduled for today, May 26.
The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. at the Leesburg FEMA Building and will focus on public comment regarding the sale of consumable hemp products as outlined under Alabama’s new state law.
Town officials are encouraging any interested citizens to attend and share their input on the matter as community leaders consider how the law may be implemented within Leesburg.
The meeting is open to the public, and all residents with an interest in the issue are invited to participate.
