Ms. Jacqueline Hurst Higgins, age 65 of Cedar Bluff (formerly of Talladega), passed away on May 17, 2026.

She is survived by her companion of 7 years, Ronald Turrentine; daughters, Jessica Goza, Tiffney Glover and Heather Proctor; grandchildren, Trinity, Katelyn, Gloria, Logan, Autumn, Addison, Madalyn, Mason and Ciarra; and her brother, James (Sonya) Hurst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie Douglas Hurst and Emma Roberta Hurst; sister, Debra Hurt; brother, Douglas Hurst; and grandson, Chase.
