Donna Kay Locke Tracy, age 54 of Cedar Bluff, passed away at her home on Friday, May 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a life dedicated to helping others find their voice.
Donna attended school in Jacksonville, AL, then later graduated from Montevallo University and Tennessee State University where she earned a degree in speech – language pathology. She was a patient advocate and a gentle guide who touched countless lives with her professional expertise and compassionate heart. Donna also spent time as an Addictions Counselor.
Her greatest love, however, was found in her family. Donna was a proud mother to her daughters, Abby Louise Tracy and Maggie Beth Tracy, who brought so much joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother, John Locke, and a wide circle of cousins and dear friends. She was the kind of person who filled a room with a gentle light, leaving everyone a little bit brighter than she found them. Donna’s warmth and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, with whom she is now reunited, Paul Locke, Jr. and Nancy Locke; and her sister-in-law, Belinda Locke.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering to celebrate Donna’s life on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Perry Funeral Home.
