Lane Closure Reported on I-20 West Following Early Morning Crash

CALHOUN COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer early Tuesday morning has resulted in a lane closure on Interstate 20 westbound in Calhoun County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash occurred at approximately 5:32 a.m. on May 5 near the 191 mile marker. The incident has blocked the left westbound lane, and officials say the closure is expected to remain in place for an undetermined amount of time.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division responded to the scene and are actively investigating the crash. Authorities have not released additional details regarding injuries or the cause of the collision.
