COLLINSVILLE – Collinsville scored eight runs in the bottom of the second inning, propelling the Lady Panthers to a 10-4 victory over Fyffe in the Class 3A, Area 13 softball tournament on Friday.

Jemma Smith led the Lady Panthers (21-16) by going 4-for-4 with a double and a run. Bella Wills went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Aubrey Reeves doubled, walked, scored a run, and had two RBIs. Maelee Barkley had a hit with a walk, two runs, and a RBI. Halle Peek and Brayleigh Smith both had a hit, a run, and a RBI. Ella Coker contributed a hit, a walk and a run.

Gabriella Whitmore walked, scored a run, and had a RBI. Lexii Burt scored a run.

Wills worked four innings in the circle and gave up three earned runs on three hits with five walks and three strikeouts. Jemma Smith tossed three innings and allowed just one hit with a strikeout.

The Lady Panthers play at 10 a.m. in the winners bracket on Saturday morning.
