Bothwell Methodist and Shiloh Baptist Request Removal of Old Grave Decorations Ahead of Decoration Day

LEESBURG — Bothwell Methodist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church are asking families to remove old flowers and decorations from loved ones’ graves by Wednesday, May 6, ahead of Decoration Day services scheduled for May 10.

Church representatives noted the request is intended to prepare cemetery grounds for upcoming observances and ensure the sites are properly maintained before families gather to honor and decorate graves.

Donations to assist with cemetery upkeep and mowing may be sent to Sonya Ward at 900 Co Rd 167, Leesburg, AL 35983.
