Museum Crafts & Things to Host Decoupage Workshop April 22

Community members with an interest in arts and crafts will have an opportunity to explore the creative world of decoupage during an upcoming workshop hosted by Museum Crafts & Things.
The event, titled “Why Decoupage? 101 Uses & Reasons Why,” is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, at 12:00 noon. The session will focus on the many uses of decoupage, a decorative art technique that involves applying paper designs to surfaces and sealing them for a finished look.
Participants will also take part in a hands-on project, customizing a tote bag using decoupage methods. Organizers note that attendees are encouraged to bring a hairdryer if they have one available, though sharing will be permitted.
A $20 fee will be charged to cover the cost of supplies.
Organizers say the event is designed to be both educational and interactive, offering attendees a chance to learn new skills while creating a personalized item to take home.
