RAINSVILLE – Plainview scored at least a run in all six innings in a 12-2 softball win over Cherokee County on Monday.
Izzy Patterson led the Lady Warriors at the plate by going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Sofie Dawson went 1-for-3 with a run. Emma Eberhart and Kar’leigh Bowman both contributed a hit. Emma Hill and Sydni Frost both drew a walk.
Hill suffered the loss. She finished with six strikeouts.
The two teams play again in Centre on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
