CENTRE – Ava Haygood and Berkley Isaacs both netted three goals and Chloe Battles scored another to lead the Cherokee County Lady Warrior soccer team to a 7-1 area soccer match win over Hokes Bluff on Monday.
The win wrapped up an 8-0 record in Class 4A, Area 6 play for the Lady Warriors.
Cherokee County’s defense was led by Kadie Henderson, Lyla Martin, Chloe Battles, Stoney Williams, Presley Shumate, and goalkeeper Cali Martin.
The Lady Warriors host a first-round playoff match next Monday or Tuesday against Area 5 runner up Munford.
