Mrs. Laura Gail Wilson Lloyd, age 71 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeremy Deaton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Derisha K. Lloyd; spouse, Johnny Cooke; sisters, Julia Graybill, Janice Hamerick and Darlene Wood; brother, Dennis Wilson; grandchildren, Matthew Lloyd, Johnny Lloyd, Terry Lloyd, Preston Smith, Terence Lloyd and Anastasia Lloyd; and great-grandchildren, Olive Lloyd, Devina Lloyd and Lily Lovell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Jordan Wilson and Emma Laura Wilson; siblings, Addie Wilson and Martha Wilson; and nieces, Jennifer Smith, Jennifer Hutto and Crystal Wood.
